It's been a great year for IMA and our clients. We delivered millions of pounds worth of positive media exposure through creative publicity while at the same time effectively managing issues of reputation and privacy and brokering media deals for those with stories to tell.

We handled all media around the burgeoning career of England's finest contemporary footballer, Wayne Rooney whose explosive on field success made him one of the most bankable sporting icons off it.

Our publicity campaigns ensured that Coleen Rooney's jewellery and make-up ranges achieved huge commercial success and that Coleen remained a cherished columnist with the UK's leading celebrity magazine.

At the same time, working with the PCC, we ensured that the media fully respected the privacy of the Rooney's newly born son demonstrating that it is possible for the children of the famous to be protected from the media glare.

Our publicity campaign for Sony Music to launch The Priests' debut album delivered coverage worth hundreds of thousands and resulted in the album selling 2 million copies and breaking Pavarotti's Guinness world record for the fastest selling classical debut album of all time.

We continued to be retained by Zac Goldsmith to handle all matters of personal reputation.

Trudie Styler retained us for a third year with managing media interest in her and members of her family.

We launched Britain's undefeated boxing World Champion, Joe Calzaghe, on a new career taking in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and onwards to a unique partnership with Help For Heroes as he pledged all the money from his testimonial to Britain's wounded soldiers.

Our creative publicity combined with talent management helped make best sellers out of a host of ITV DVD titles such as Jeremy Kyle's Access all Areas and ITV Icons.

We advised an influential UK political group caught up in a critical TV documentary and succeeded in securing major changes to the programme in the run-up to broadcast on terrestrial TV.

And we brokered a number of media publishing deals to secure both reward and control for clients with stories to tell.

2010 looks set to be an even better year for our existing and new clients - keep in touch through our website or contact us by phone 020 8834 1090 or email saffron@ianmonk.com.
